Policymakers in Sarajevo are now using this novel methodology based on large\u2010scale, agent\u2010based, and bottom\u2010up simulations to inform the design of the new urban plan.
\nAs a multi\u2010stakeholder project, the Urban Transformation Project Sarajevo (UTPS) is developed between the ETH Zurich Prof. Klumpner\u2019s Chair of Architecture and Urban Design, ETH Zurich Prof. Abhari\u2019s Laboratory of Energy Conversion, ETH Zurich spin\u2010off SwissAI, University of Sarajevo and Canton Sarajevo Institute of Planning and Development. The overarching key component of the project is the elaboration of the urban plan for Sarajevo for the next 20 years.<\/p>\n
