ETH Zurich will again be taking part in this summer school. With hybrid teaching online in summer and onsite in Berlin from 1st to 6th September 2025 the Summer School is dedicate to the theme \u201cFrom dystopia to euphoria: SYNERGIC URBAN SYSTEMS under pressure\u201d. The call for application will follow in early 2025.<\/strong>\n

Coming Up: Summer School 2025 in Berlin<\/h3>\nThe Summer School SYNERGIC URBAN SYSTEMS is a hybrid summer school (blended intensive program; 4 ECTS). It is organized within the ENHANCE alliance<\/a> by the following universities: RWTH Aachen, TU Berlin, Politecnico di Milano, NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim), Polytechnic University of Valencia, Warsaw University of Technology, ETH Zurich.\n\nThe ENHANCE Summer School aims to provide participants with skills necessary to design innovative interdisciplinary approaches to urban systems integration across key sectors, including climate change, health and well-being, social and economic life, urban natural environment, accessibility and connectivity, equality and inclusiveness.\n\nThe ENHANCE Summer School is based on co-creation processes in which students develop context-specific and place-based visions and implementation proposals for an urban transformation area in the host. Processes of transformative urban change will be discussed with representatives of the civil society and economic decision-makers.\n\n\n

A Look Back: Summer School 2024 in Milan<\/h3>\nIn 2024, the ENHANCE Summer School was hosted by Politecnico di Milano. An interdisciplinary group of participants from architecture & urban design, urban planning, and social sciences co-created transformative visions for Milan\u2019s Santa Giulia site that will be part of the 2026 Winter Olympics locations. Five students from ETH Zurich attended the 2024 Summer School.\n\n\"Standbild<\/a>\n
