\nThe BAQ \u2013 F\u00e1brica de Cultura will be inaugurated in the first quarter of 2021. Developed by the ETH Zurich in collaboration with an international network of partners such as Uni- Norte, and other ETH Zurich partners (ITA, among others), the F\u00e1brica de Cultura: BAQ (EDA \u2013 Municipal Art School) will provide a \u00abmaker space\u00bb for teaching young people the creative arts and popular traditions centred around Barranquilla\u2019s Carnival.Operated by the municipality, the facility will offer cultural education, in music, dance, sculpture, dress making, painting poetry, theatre, food production, digital film and audio techniques, to all residents but especially to the popular Barrio Abajo.<\/p>\n
