In the late 1970s and early 1980s, many social movements and uprisings were erupting in large and small cities across Western Europe, such as the movimento del\u2019 77 in ltaly, the Hausbesetzungen in Berlin, the fight against runway west in Frankfurt, the krakers in Amsterdam, revolts against ethnic discrimination, police violence and austerity politics in several British cities in 1981, the squat of the Reitschule in Berne or the movement L\u00f4zane bouge. A web conference about a largely forgotten historical moment of political mobilization, in cooperation with the Zentrum Architektur Z\u00fcrich ZAZ and the International Network for Urban Research and Action INURA.<\/p>\n
\u00abWir wollen die ganze Stadt\u00bb forderte die 80er Bewegung in Z\u00fcrich. Was war das f\u00fcr eine Stadt, in der diese Bewegung so pl\u00f6tzlich auftauchte und die sie so grundlegend ver\u00e4ndern wollte? Und welche Auswirkungen hatte die Bewegung auf den Alltag, auf das \u00f6ffentliche Leben, auf die Stadtentwicklung?
