Sitting or seating, the provision of a seat or seating, the\u00a0arrangement of material for a seat as one of the most basic\u00a0human activities in private or public urban environments is\u00a0the point of departure for our installation \u00abSitting Matters\u00bb.<\/p>\n
In\u00a0our cities of today, we often find that sitting has lost \u00abform and\u00a0function\u00bb. As integration of high-tech and artisanal furniture\u00a0production our prototypical pilot-project invites visitors of the\u00a0exhibition to re-learn sitting, repairing, producing and engaging\u00a0in the re-colonization of public space.<\/p>\n
