As in virtually every other city around the world, Swiss cities of Zurich and Basel saw changes in everyday mobility patterns with the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdowns that ensued.

This disruption to everyday life poses the perfect opportunity for individuals to reconsider their travel choices and for policy changes to be implemented to move us toward a more sustainable future.
